Spanish Teacher

Maribel is originally from Mallorca and has been living in Berlin for the past two years. Her native languages are Spanish and Catalan, she also speaks English and is currently studying German.

She graduated from the University of Barcelona with a Bachelor's Degree in Law. After working as a lawyer for ten years she began teaching law and realized that she wanted to become a full time professional teacher.

In 2013 she completed her teacher training course at the International House Institute in Barcelona with a qualification to  teach Spanish as a foreign language (ELE) accredited by IL3 of the University of Barcelona.

After successfully completing her training she began teaching Spanish to non native students, working with both adults and children from all over the world. As her teaching career progressed she started to specialize in training adults in preparation for their exam to become a civil servant.

Outside of teaching she is passionate about music and has completed a sound technician course. Also she is very interested in German history and enjoys cinema, reading and travelling.
