José Piñero was born in Manresa, an industrial city near Barcelona. When he was five years old his family he moved to Salamanca, a monumental city base for the University of Salamanca, which is one of the oldest universities in Europe. José graduated from the University of Salamanca in July 2004 with a Bachelor of Arts in History and PGCE. He has taken several courses in DELE and Teaching Spanish as a Foreign Language, such as “ELE Teacher” (2013) by Hemingway Institute and “Spanish Language Class Planning” (2010) by Colegio Delibes.
Jose has more than six years of experience teaching Spanish in top Spanish schools in Salamanca and Madrid. He has worked in Academia Isla (2010), Colegio Delibes (2011-2012), Enforex (2013-2014) and Don Quijote, one of the most important DELE Schools in Spain. Throughout his career he has taught Spanish to hundreds of students from around the world.
Jose loves music, books and travelling. He also enjoys writing; he has published a book of poetry and collaborates with some blogs and culture magazines writing about music, history and literature.
