Consuelo was born in Alicante, in the southeast of Spain. She has loved teaching ever since she was a child. She graduated from the University of Alicante in 2006, with a Bachelor’s degree in Spanish and English Philology. Additionally, she holds a Master’s degree in Teaching English and Spanish as Second Languages/Foreign Languages from the same university.
Consuelo has been teaching Spanish as a Foreign Language since 2006. Throughout her career, she has taught Spanish to students of different levels from around the world: she has participated as a Spanish Teaching Assistant in Herne Bay High School (UK), she has collaborated at university level teaching courses at the University of Alicante, and she has worked in Proyecto Español, a top Spanish school in Alicante. Currently, Consuelo is teaching Spanish Language and Literature at a high school level and collaborating in different Spanish teaching programmes. She is also getting her accreditation as a DELE examiner and as a teacher of the AVE (Virtual Lessons of Spanish) in the Instituto Cervantes.
Consuelo loves travelling and she is always planning her next adventure. She is also interested in cinema, theatre and sports, and she cannot live without literature.
