Beatriz is from Pontevedra, in the north of Spain, but she lives in Salamanca. Her mother tongues are Spanish and Galician. She is also fluent in English and has basic knowledge of Portuguese.
She holds a degree in Spanish Linguistics and Literature from the Universidad of Santiago de Compostela in Spain. She has been a private Spanish teacher since she started university. In 2014, she finished her Master’s degree in Secondary Education, also from the University of Santiago de Compostela.
In July 2014, Beatriz enrolled in a course for Teaching Spanish as a Foreign Language at Instituto Cervantes, taking her skills as a Spanish teacher to the next level. On completion, she began giving Spanish lessons in Prague.
Beatriz also holds a Master's degree in Teaching Spanish as a Second Language at the University of Salamanca, where she was teaching Spanish to university students. After this Master she was working at Appalachian State University (North Carolina) as Spanish Teacher . Currently, Beatriz is teaching Spanish in International courses at University of Santiago de Compostela.
Bea loves reading, going to the cinema and travelling the world in search for new cultures.
