Spanish Teacher

Amanda García was born in Barcelona. Both Spanish and Catalan are her mother tongues but she is also proficient in English and she just achieved intermediate level in French. She graduated from the University of Barcelona in July 2012, in English Philology. Additionally, he holds a Master’s Degree by University of Deusto in Teaching Spanish as a Second Language in Multilingual and International contexts, finished in June 2015.

Amanda has more than two years of experience teaching ‘Spanish Language’ and ‘DELE exam preparation’ to students of different linguistic levels and nationalities. She has been teaching at Instituto Cervantes in Istanbul, at JNU University (New Delhi), Doon University (Dehradoon) and at RIS International School, in Reykjavik (Iceland). Currently she is living in India where she is working as a Spanish Teacher at Instituto Cervantes (New Delhi).

Amanda loves travelling, painting and singing. Besides, she is also passionate about animals and nature, she is really happy when she can spend a whole day sunbathing and swimming in the sea. Music is always present in her life and going to concerts with her friends is one of the things she enjoys the most. Photography is also a hobby that she loves to practice, sometimes she enjoys going for a walk just to find some interesting pictures to take.
